ORIGIN: Found in 2015 along road to Guayzimi, Zamora-Chinchipe, Ecuador.

DESCRIPTION: Named based on working name by Marco Jimenez and his son with Dave SkinnerProbable hybrid of the very common Costus asplundii of the region with Costus amazonicus. Plant grows to 3 to 4 meters tall, all vegetative parts are hairy, ligule truncate to slightly lobed. Bracts are green, non-appendaged, with fibrous margins. Flowers are pink open-labellum type, including corolla and labellum.
